Mission

Firmus Technologies designs, builds, and operates large-scale, energy-efficient ""AI Factories"" that provide high-performance computing power for hyperscale and AI-native customers. Its platform is built on NVIDIA’s DSX reference architecture and is being rolled out nationally under the banner of Project Southgate. Factories are already under construction at multiple Australian sites, with plans to deploy thousands of GPUs. The company expects Project Southgate to scale up to 1.6 gigawatts of infrastructure by 2028. Each facility is engineered for energy efficiency and what Firmus calls “token production” to support demanding AI workloads. Management positions Australia’s favorable energy profile, skilled workforce, and export-ready infrastructure as competitive advantages. The recent financing gives the company significant capital to accelerate factory deployment, expand manufacturing, and integrate energy resources to meet surging global demand for AI compute.
