Cherry Recommends builds an AI-driven promotions recommender that analyses customer data to create rich customer views and deliver personalised promotions. The product handles data collection, analytics and machine learning so businesses can focus on customer relationships. Its clients include Vitable, Mosh and Phoria; Cherry says Mosh’s churn rate fell by 18% after using the platform. The company targets startups, scale-ups and online brands, and is specifically pursuing SaaS, subscription and e-commerce customers with more than 1,000 subscribers. Co-founders Isaac Donnelly (former McKinsey engagement manager, PhD, Fulbright scholar) and Rian Finnegan (former Microsoft software engineer) founded the business in 2020. Cherry is focused on expanding into the US market and its leadership plans to head to the US to support that growth.
