Peak AI offers a Decision Intelligence platform that helps retailers, brands and manufacturers build customized AI decision-making tools to monitor stock, personalize customer experiences and automate complex processes. The platform is aimed at data scientists and engineers at customer organizations rather than being a no-code product, enabling them to identify processes for AI and build solutions with less heavy lifting. Customers listed include Nike, PepsiCo, KFC, Molson Coors, Marshalls, Asos and Speedy, and the company reports that revenues more than doubled in the last 12 months. Peak says clients using its tools have seen average revenue increases of 5%, doubled return on ad spend, 5% reductions in supply-chain costs and 12% reductions in inventory holdings. The company will use new funding to continue building out the platform, expand into new markets and hire roughly 200 people. Peak is led by CEO Richard Potter and is not disclosing a valuation. Peak AI offers a platform that helps businesses make AI-based evaluations and decisions across retail, consumer goods and manufacturing. Its technology answers operational questions such as production cost, shipping destinations and inventory management, and it also supports marketing and advertising targeting. The company packages analytics as a service to help non-tech enterprises adopt AI that might otherwise feel out of reach. Founded in 2014 and based in Manchester, Peak identified the opportunity early as non-tech firms began exploring AI applications. Peak AI has worked with customers including KFC, PepsiCo, ASOS, AO and Polypipe. The company recently closed a $21M funding round.
