Mission

Local Measure is a customer intelligence platform for the tourism and hospitality sectors that merges local content, social media and mobile technology to provide live access to customer data, rich content and analytics at a local level. The product enables front-line staff with real-time information to improve the guest experience, detect and resolve problems and negative reviews before they impact a property’s reputation or performance. It also provides data back to brands to build loyalty among customers across multiple properties in real time. Clients include large tourism, leisure, hospitality and mall brands in more than 380 cities worldwide, including AccorHotels, Hardrock, Virgin Hotels and Club Med. The company expects to grow to more than 1,000 hotels in the U.S. alone this year. Local Measure has raised $11.25M to date and recently secured an additional $3.4M in funding. Led by founder and CEO Jonathan Barouch, the company will open a sales and account management office in Dubai in January and an office in Los Angeles later this quarter, adding to offices in Sydney, Singapore, London and Miami.
