Mission
Balo operates an on-demand marketplace where companies can instantly book live video consultations with vetted specialists across roughly 14 Salesforce products. Founded by Michael Joo, Yomi Joseph and Luke Sheehan, the service is charged by the minute after the first 15 minutes and has onboarded more than 100 corporate customers in its first six months. The supply side currently includes about 200 approved experts from 26 countries, with a further 460+ specialists on the waitlist and 32 agencies preparing to pilot the platform. Experts pass a multi-step screening process featuring automated assessments, reference checks and live interviews, and are continually rated by clients. Future product plans include integrating AI agents to augment both users and experts while keeping human expertise central to the experience. Financially, the company has raised a $712,000 pre-seed round and previously secured an initial investment from Antler. This capital will be used to scale the expert marketplace and accelerate product development.
