Conry Tech is a Melbourne climate-tech startup developing the BullAnt, an energy-efficient, Australian-made commercial air-conditioning system designed to dramatically cut power use and CO₂ emissions.
Mission
Founded in 2020 by HVAC pioneer Ron Conry with Sam and Brenda Ringwaldt, Conry Tech aims to eliminate one billion tonnes of CO₂ from global cooling. Its flagship product, the BullAnt, is a fully Australian-designed and engineered commercial air-conditioning unit built from scratch without off-the-shelf components. The company claims the system can halve energy bills for commercial buildings and data centres while sharply reducing carbon emissions. Conry Tech positions the BullAnt as a decentralised HVAC solution that can transform global cooling demand, especially across the Asia-Pacific region. After five years of R&D, the startup is moving into go-to-market execution. To date it has raised $13 million of capital to accelerate production and deployment, and it is targeting a larger Series A round in 2026 to scale further.
