Mission

Tirtyl produces personal and household cleaning products in tablet form that customers dissolve in tap water and dispense from a reusable glass bottle with a foaming pump. The tablets arrive in compostable wrapping, reducing bulky plastic packaging and the carbon emissions associated with shipping water-heavy cleaners. Since launching in 2021 the company reached roughly $1M USD in sales in its first 12 months, is the top-selling tablet handsoap in Australia and the #1 bestselling tablet soap on Amazon US, and holds a 4.9 Product Review rating from over 1,000 reviews. Tirtyl donates 2% of sales to environmental causes and has collected over one million bottles of ocean-bound plastic waste in the past year. The founders operate a 500 sqm warehouse in Brisbane and launched on Amazon US simultaneously with their Australian launch. Planned growth paths include geographic expansion, partnerships with businesses (tourism and hospitality), omnichannel strategies, and pursuing commercial customers where tablet dosing and easier storage are attractive.
