Mission

Talisman is a community-owned wallet designed for the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems and a multi-chain future. It enables users to take control of their crypto assets, leverage novel Polkadot-enabled use cases, and participate via a social layer that helps shape the project. The team announced plans to expand and add additional features to help users interact with the Polkadot–Kusama paraverse ecosystem. Talisman positions itself as an integral component for adoption of the Polkadot/Kusama ecosystem by enhancing user experience in DeFi applications. The project completed a $2.35 million seed funding round announced in October 2021, with capital provided by Advanced Blockchain AG and other investors. Advanced Blockchain emphasized contributing capital, technical resources, and expertise alongside the investment.
