Moneytribe operates an anonymous consumer platform and mobile app letting users compare financial products, prices, features, peer sentiment, view personalized offers, and request health insurance and mortgage quotes.

Mission

Moneytribe provides a tool that allows consumers to anonymously compare financial products, prices, features and sentiment with people similar to them (their 'tribes'). Users can also see what personalized product offers people like them are receiving and buying from the market. The company completed a soft-launch in late July and plans to release an updated mobile application in early December that includes a ""make me an offer"" feature for health insurance and mortgages. Moneytribe was founded by David Urpani and Andrew Coates and is based in Melbourne, Australia. It currently employs six people and owns domains for more than 20 countries. Financially, the company has raised A$250K in seed funding from existing Melbourne angels.
