Aconex is an Australian software firm. The company secured $107.5 million in funding from U.S.-based private equity firm Francisco Partners. The deal was approved at a meeting of existing Aconex shareholders. Aconex has around 100 investors, mainly high-net-worth individuals, families and friends of Aconex executives. The new capital will be used for product development, acquisitions and geographic expansion. The transaction is described as one of Australia’s biggest private equity deals of the year.
