Lewi Software develops software to manage wastewater assets within the chemicals sector. The founders — Vishnu Avudainayagam and Geraldine Terada-Bellis — say wastewater asset management has been underinvested compared with the broader $4 trillion global chemicals industry. In Australia they note about 22 utility companies service roughly $100 billion of wastewater assets, representing a sizable addressable problem. The company participated in the 2022 Ventures ilab Accelerator, where it received mentorship and a $10,000 grant during a three-month program. Financially, Lewi has completed a $200,000 Seed round backed by Melbourne VC Skalata Ventures. The startup aims to modernize an overlooked area of chemical-industry asset management by applying dedicated software solutions.
