Solar Analytics provides Solar Maximiser, an online tool analyzing energy usage and tariffs to assess rooftop solar, batteries, hot-water and EV chargers, connect users to suppliers, enable active demand control.

Mission

Solar Analytics is developing an online consumer smart energy tool called ""Solar Maximiser"" that provides households with economic assessments of potential consumer energy resource (CER) investments such as rooftop solar, batteries, smart electric hot water and EV chargers. The Tool analyses energy usage, retail tariffs and market data to show potential bill savings and connects users with suppliers for quotes and installations. It will be publicly available at no cost and has been tested and calibrated using over 1,000 existing customers in New South Wales. The project includes software integration to support active control of smart heat pump hot water systems, targeting 1,000 systems and 1 MW of flexible demand capacity. Solar Analytics plans a national trial and rollout, recruiting customers across Australia. The University of Technology Sydney’s Institute for Sustainable Futures has been commissioned to research the role of domestic hot water in flexible demand and that research will inform the project.
