Mission

Zena Sport is a Geelong-based women's impact protection sportswear company that makes the world’s only scientifically tested chest protection vest for women and girls in contact sports such as AFL, rugby, basketball, and soccer. The startup plans to expand its product offerings and ramp up both local and overseas expansion. It received a $148,000 pre-seed investment from Breakthrough Victoria as part of its first external fundraising round. The funding will be used to scale globally by increasing marketing in Australia, the US, and Europe and to build its business development team. Zena Sport expects the investment to support hiring and create up to 12 local jobs within two years.
