About

Analog Quantum Circuits develops integrated on-chip microwave circulators and core microwave components for superconducting quantum computers, prototyping devices via electron-beam and CMM nanolithography to enable scalable processors.

Mission

Analog Quantum Circuits develops core microwave technologies aimed at superconducting quantum computers, with a focus on integrating microwave circulators onto chips. The company was founded by EQUS Chief Investigators Professor Tom Stace and Associate Professor Arkady Fedorov; Tom Stace serves as inaugural CEO. AQC builds on over five years of EQUS-funded research supported by the Australian Research Council and Future Fellowships. Its near-term work centers on advancing prototype devices fabricated with electron-beam lithography and leveraging CMM nanolithography facilities to reach commercially relevant performance. AQC has secured a $3 million seed investment from Uniseed to fund development and scale-up of these components. The firm intends to address current bottlenecks in scaling superconducting quantum processors by replacing bulky, expensive commercial circulators with integrated on-chip alternatives.
