Mission

BT Imaging designs, develops and supplies luminescence-based inspection and quality-control systems for the photovoltaic manufacturing industry using proprietary photoluminescence imaging technology. Its inspection suite is used by leading research institutions to qualify new photovoltaic manufacturing processes. The company has served Tier 1 wafer and cell manufacturers across Europe, Australia, Taiwan, China and Japan. Launched in 2008, BT Imaging maintains an R&D centre with close ties to the University of New South Wales and operates sales and marketing teams in Germany and California. It also distributes through partners in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China and South East Asia. The company plans to use new funding to accelerate product development, execute global expansion plans and strengthen and defend its intellectual-property portfolio.
