Esports Mogul operates Mogul Arena, a platform for organizing e-sports competitions, and runs a gaming news website focused on Asia and Latin America. The company plans to use the new funding to develop Mogul Arena for mobile and to fund user acquisition and monetization pushes. Esports Mogul went public in Australia via a reverse listing that raised it $7 million and joined the ASX in late 2016. The recent financing was priced at AU$0.018 per share, a 20.55% discount to the 15-day volume-weighted average share price; the company's shares had been priced just below $0.002 when it joined the ASX in 2016. Esports Mogul already works with Razer and will increase collaboration to integrate Razer’s payment system, which was created through Razer's acquisition of MOL. The round was oversubscribed and included Singapore's Cloud Alliance, existing investors, and local Australian institutions.
