Mission

Coursebox provides an AI-powered tool that lets organisations create fully compliant and engaging training courses in minutes. The startup was founded by educational designer Travis Clapp and marketer Alex Hey; CEO Travis Clapp says their mission is to become the world’s easiest way to create and deliver engaging courses globally, in any language, for any learner. Since launching in mid-2023, Coursebox has attracted over 100,000 sign-ups from more than 180 countries and reports about 90% of its sales come from organic SEO traffic. The platform already counts international and Australian clients including TeamWorks, Academy Xi, and Grower Group Alliance. Coursebox graduated Western Australia’s Plus Eight accelerator in 2024 and plans to use new funding to accelerate product development and scale adoption among HR teams, training providers, and learning designers. The company is positioning itself to build a globally competitive business while remaining rooted in WA’s growing innovation ecosystem.
