Mission

Unleash live is a real-time video analytics and machine learning AI platform that transforms live video from drones, CCTV, and mobile devices into actionable insights via cloud integration. The platform supports automated inspections, asset monitoring, and rapid response across energy, utilities, mining, transport, and public safety sectors. Founded in 2016 by Hanno Blankenstein and Jason Grier and headquartered in Sydney, the company operates globally. In May 2025 Unleash live raised A$17.0 million in a Series B to accelerate growth. The company will use the funding to support global commercial expansion, invest in R&D, scale its AI engineering teams, and grow its cloud-based platform and partnerships with industrial automation leaders. Unleash live offers an A.I.-powered real-time video analytics platform called ‘Intelligent Remote Vision’ that injects A.I. apps into livestream video to augment inspectors, progress monitors, auditors and regulators. Customers connect existing cameras and devices to the cloud-based platform (built on AWS), stream video, and apply A.I. from the company’s A.I. App Store without new hardware or large integrations. The company operates a tiered subscription model based on live streaming, secure storage, and A.I. Apps modules and counts customers such as Miami‑Dade Transit Authority, the City of Sacramento, Transport for New South Wales, Worley and BHP. Launched in 2016, Unleash live has seen over 500% growth since March 2020 and earlier this year completed 30 million minutes of analysed video. Its App Store supports 34 Apps today (covering use cases from Solar PV and power line fault detection to transport analytics) and the company expects to surpass 200 Apps within two years. The business plans to expand its US team and use funding to accelerate the growth and adoption of its A.I. Apps Store.
