The company offers a generative AI simulation platform that plays the role of patients, colleagues, or family members to train healthcare professionals in verbal communication. Its platform is used by over 50 institutions and the company operates across the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States. SimConverse says its product reduces the need for actors and lowers the cost of communication training while addressing communication-related medical errors, which it cites as around 70% of medical errors. The startup plans to use the A$1.5M seed funding to attract more users across the US, UK, and Australia and to further digitize healthcare education. CEO Aiden Roberts emphasized that communication is the primary determinant of the quality of care a patient receives.
