Brisbane Materials develops innovative materials solutions for solar and other applications, focusing on high-performance, wide-area coatings of porous silica and other materials. The company holds patented technology to create these coatings at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. It formed in March 2011 and is headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland. Brisbane Materials recently formed a strategic partnership with EV Group to provide turnkey manufacturing systems for high-yield fabrication of anti-reflective coatings. The company intends to use new capital to scale R&D and manufacturing at its Brisbane headquarters and to expand sales and marketing efforts globally.
