Sitemate provides a multi-product, no-code SaaS suite that lets built-world teams compose flexible building blocks to digitize workflows rather than adopt rigid all‑in‑one systems. The company positions its product strategy similarly to Atlassian, enabling customers to choose and deploy standalone tools that integrate with accounting systems, CRMs and the Microsoft suite. Sitemate emphasizes customization, simple UI/UX and replacement of legacy Word/Excel/paper processes for field workers. Since launching in August 2018, the company has grown every month, reporting strong product adoption, retention and word‑of‑mouth growth. In the past 12 months Sitemate doubled headcount from 70 to 140 and acquired and rebranded Nomad Fleet as Gearbelt. It maintains its largest presence in Australia and also operates offices in London, Vancouver and Toronto, with a go‑to‑market team due to come online in Austin in 2025; proceeds will be used to double down on product, engineering and global go‑to‑market expansion. Sitemate builds a no-code project management platform for the construction industry that captures, organizes, and analyses work both on-site and in the office. Its software is structured around the daily work of people, projects, and teams to streamline document creation and management. The company was founded in 2015 by Hartley Pike and Sam McDonnell and is based in Sydney, Australia. In November 2023 Sitemate raised $7.5M in a pre-Series A round to further develop the platform. The company plans to use the funds to accelerate product development and double the size of its global team by the end of 2024. Founded in 2015 by Hartley Pike and Samuel McDonnell and registered as Dashpivot Services Pty Ltd., Sitemate planned a North American office later that year. In July 2022 Sitemate raised $5.2 million to support growth of its no-code tools for the construction sector. Sitemate offers a platform for shared workflow documents used on industrial projects, covering financial documents, commercial record-keeping and environmental and safety workflows. The product targets construction and adjacent sectors where teams currently rely on paper, spreadsheets and standalone apps. The company rebranded from Construction Cloud to Sitemate to signal applicability beyond construction to building, energy, utilities, mining and oil and gas. Sitemate was launched out of the University of Sydney’s UTS Startups program in 2015 and graduated the Startmate Accelerator in 2017. The startup has users in 30 countries, though it has not disclosed total user numbers or revenue. Following a $1.3 million funding round, the team plans to expand marketing and sales, hire product and engineering staff and invest in back-end infrastructure to support growing demand.
