Mission

Five Good Friends is a technology-led, data-driven home care provider that operates a care-delivery business alongside a proprietary SaaS platform called Lookout. Lookout enables automated tracking, monitoring and reporting of care quality via automatic check‑in/check‑out, recorded care notes, family access, client-data escalation to care managers, and complex rostering; it powers service delivery for over 100 home care and NDIS providers. The company delivers around 30,000 home care visits per month and has provided more than 3 million hours of care since its founding in 2016. Five Good Friends has rapidly gained share in the Australian home care market and is currently a top‑20 provider. The announced strategic investment by TPG is intended to fund continued growth and scaling of both the care services and the Lookout platform. Co‑founders Simon Lockyer and Nathan Betteridge will remain in leadership roles with significant ownership, while EQT will retain a minority stake.
