Mission

HealthShare is a Sydney-based digital health services company that operates an online platform for finding healthcare practitioners, booking appointments, and accessing trusted health information. Founded in 2010, the company’s platform has been used by more than 1.5 million Australians. HealthShare also builds information products for GPs that integrate into clinical desktop software so clinicians can pass quality content to patients at consultation. The company has partnerships with more than 100 Australian healthcare organisations across not-for-profits, pharmaceutical, and medical device sectors. HealthShare is majority-owned by its board and management, which includes senior executives such as Tim Reed and Paul Mirabelle, and is led by CEO Alex Stewart. Fairfax’s investment is intended to help fast-track development and launch of new products to improve health outcomes and the delivery of healthcare information and services.
