About

Mutiny is a no-code AI platform that plugs into customer data and websites to personalize pages, recommend segments and playbooks, and generate conversion-optimized copy via visual editor and integrations.

Mission

Mutiny builds an AI engine that plugs into a company’s data and website to serve personalized versions of pages and generate high-converting copy. The platform recommends customer segments for personalization, shows how peers have tailored their sites, and can generate whole-page copy tuned by customer data and GPT-3. Mutiny says its models learn from a proprietary, anonymized dataset and reinforcement-learning algorithms trained on 150 million data points. Customers include Dropbox, Snowflake, Qualtrics and Carta, and roughly 50 million people across more than 3 million companies have seen sites personalized by Mutiny. Revenue is on track to quadruple in fiscal quarter 2022. The company plans to more than double its 40-person team by 2023 and is investing heavily in its AI technology. Mutiny is a no-code AI platform that automates the art and science of converting website visitors into customers. The product provides marketers with data and analytics, AI-powered recommendations, and content writing so teams can drive revenue without engineers. Mutiny is focused on website conversion for both inbound and outbound traffic. Customers include Brex, Carta, Notion, Segment, and Qualtrics. The company reports it identifies 73% of visitors through various data sources and drives a 108% conversion lift across winning personalized experiences. Mutiny raised $18.5M in a Series A led by Sequoia Capital in September 2021. Mutiny provides marketers with a visual editor and pre-built data integrations to show different landing pages and experiences to different customer segments. The product pulls account data (including from Salesforce), cleans and surfaces it, and can insert prospect details such as name, title and company into pages. Mutiny has added account-based marketing features and now offers personalized recommendations and full “playbooks” that suggest which segments to target and what personalized experience to deliver. The company says customers have seen meaningful lifts—Brex reported a 200% increase in outbound leads and Amplitude has increased inbound leads by more than 40%—and lists customers including Segment, Carta, TripActions and Elastic. Mutiny was built by CEO Jaleh Rezaei and co-founder Nikhil Mathew and participated in Y Combinator’s Summer 2018 class. The company is announcing new funding and product features today; the article does not disclose the size or terms of the new financing.
