The company serves construction, aggregates, mining, and waste-management worksites and supports more than 4,000 worksites every month across over 50 countries. Propeller operates with a 138-strong team. The company announced it raised $18M in a Series B and intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach. Propeller also added Roz Buick, a long-time digital transformation leader in construction, to its board; Rory San Miguel is CEO and co-founder. Propeller Aero provides a 3D visualisation cloud platform that lets businesses instantly measure drone data, volumes and distances and track changes over time. The company also offers AeroPoints, a smart ground control hardware system that delivers survey-grade data for engineering precision. The first batch of AeroPoints sold out within days to customers around the world, including NASA; a second, larger batch is in production and available to pre-order. Propeller Aero was founded in 2014 and operates from Sydney and New York City. The company currently employs 16 people. It has raised US$3.1M in funding, according to the report.
