Mission
Sherpa is a Sydney-based startup that soft-launched late last year and provides on-demand deliveries to business customers and individuals. It raised $500,000 in seed funding in March. The company guarantees deliveries within two hours between 7am and 9pm, seven days a week. Sherpa operates within a 20 kilometre radius of the central business districts of Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne. It has a network of over 1,000 registered ‘sherpas’ — crowd-sourced couriers. The company is soon to launch in Auckland.
