Blakthumb offers a dense, comprehensive operating system for indoor growers that bundles task management, checklist aggregation, monitoring, data capture, team coordination and performance visibility. The product aims to automate planning and give managers end-to-end visibility over cultivations, enabling standardisation and better comparison of harvests. Founders Mel Fyfe and Carey Taylor — producers themselves — spent six years researching the industry and building a prototype tuned to growers' needs. The team positions Blakthumb as foundational infrastructure for decentralised production environments, with ambitions to accelerate uptake of indoor farming globally and improve employee satisfaction and retention.
