Mission

Voly is a five-month-old Sydney-based startup that offers thousands of SKUs and promises deliveries in about 15 minutes for a flat fee of A$2.99. It currently carries roughly 2,000 SKUs and plans to expand that assortment to about 3,000, adding modular shopping and meal-kit–style recipe bundles. The company says it is growing at a rate of 100% each month, though it is not disclosing customer numbers. Voly differentiates by employing drivers as full-time employees rather than contractors and aims to sell goods at retail prices rather than marked-up rates. The business will use its new capital to expand into cities and towns across Australia, targeting a grocery market estimated at about A$90 billion annually. The founders bring prior experience launching Uber in Australia, operations and logistics roles, and running a refrigerated last-mile delivery startup, which investors cited as a reason for backing the team.
