Mission

Plattar is advancing a cloud-based platform that allows publishers, companies and agencies to create, manage, and distribute AR content (images, videos, live streams, etc.) on physical objects which can be watched via mobile devices. Led by CEO Rupert Deans, the company focuses on tools for creating and distributing AR experiences tied to real-world items. Plattar raised AUS$1.1m in seed funding to support its product and go-to-market activities. The funds will be used to launch a private beta and to hire developers and project managers. The financing round was announced in April 2016.
