Mission

Inaam operates a mobile platform that lets users build personalised impact-focused portfolios starting from $10 a month while embedding financial-literacy content throughout the experience. The app translates investment outcomes into tangible metrics such as trees planted, renewable energy generated, and carbon emissions avoided, helping users understand real-world effects and avoid greenwashing. Its investment methodology screens companies on financial soundness, impact contribution, and leadership integrity, and even applies psychosocial assessments of management teams. Designed to feel more like Duolingo or Notion than a traditional finance tool, Inaam targets socially conscious 18- to 30-year-olds and delivers daily “financial literacy word of the day” notifications. Formally registered in 2021, the startup has grown to a 13-person team covering engineering, marketing, and investment analysis. The recent $500,000 pre-seed raise fully funds its initial launch, though the founder is considering adding a co-founder to de-risk the business ahead of the next round.
