Mission

Earnd is a Sydney, Australia-based financial wellness benefit startup led by co-founder and CEO Josh Vernon. It provides a platform that lets employees set their pay schedule and access earned pay when they need it. The company works with employers to integrate its system into payroll, time and attendance systems. The service is designed to help employees avoid debt, late fees and expensive, predatory credit while increasing focus, morale, retention and productivity. Earnd raised $2.5m in funding and is using the proceeds to continue expanding the platform. Backers included NAB Ventures, Alvin Singh, Bosco Tan, John Banfield, Andrew Birch and Rob Lederer.
