About

InvestorHub is a B2B SaaS stakeholder-engagement platform enabling listed and small-cap executives to understand, communicate with, and transact with retail and institutional investors through integrated workflows and data tools.

Mission

InvestorHub is an Australian software startup founded in 2017 by Ben Williamson and Rhys Davis and was initially called Fresh Equities. The company is described in reporting simply as a software startup. It has raised $4 million in a Series A financing announced this week, building on a prior $4 million Series A in May 2023. According to The Australian Financial Review, InvestorHub intends to raise an additional $1 million, which would bring the completed Series A to $9 million. The raise was reported as one of two Aussie startups that together announced $5 million in new funding this week. Coverage did not name any participating investors. InvestorHub, previously Fresh Equities and operating since a July 2022 launch as Fresh Amplify, provides stakeholder-engagement software to help listed companies bridge the gap with investors. Cofounded in 2017 by Ben Williamson and Rhys Davis, the platform enables small-cap company executives to better understand and interact with investors. Since the July 2022 launch it has grown to around 40 corporate customers with market caps between $2 million and $6 billion, helping them engage more than 45,000 investors a month. The company highlights that retail investors account for up to 80% of daily trades and that issuers lack tools to communicate beyond their top shareholders and institutions. The new funding will be used to ramp up R&D, expand the go-to-market team, and pursue overseas expansion into the UK, Singapore, Canada and the US. EVP described InvestorHub as a workflow‑integrated B2B SaaS product that fits specialist SaaS investor criteria. Fresh Equities, founded in 2017 by CEO Ben Williamson and Rhys Davis, operates a technology-led platform that provides investors access to ASX 100 opportunities and helps company leaders connect with investors. The company has facilitated over 1,000 transactions, providing companies access to a combined $450 million, and its bid volume has grown 15x in two years. Fresh plans to use new capital to establish an underwriting business and expand its proprietary data pool and technological capabilities. Product development will add features to help small-cap company leaders understand and interact with investors to grow market capitalisation. The platform has previously helped backers such as Wisr and Zip and aims to better match investors with companies through expanded tech and data.
