Chemist2U is a user-friendly mobile app and web-based platform that streamlines access to prescription medications and over-the-counter pharmacy-only items. The service emphasizes same-day delivery, often delivering within hours of an order. Following its successful launch in February, Chemist2U has expanded its local community pharmacy partnership portfolio to nearly 200 nationwide, covering NSW, WA, VIC, ACT, TAS and SA and regional towns such as Mildura, Albany, Rockhampton and Armidale. The company says the additional funding will be used to develop its platform further and to invest in resourcing and marketing to better service patients on multiple prescription medications and drive consumer acquisition via digital channels. Chemist2U highlights benefits to partner pharmacies including boosted local health services and continued pharmacist counselling when orders are placed. The company expects the progressive rollout of e-prescription frameworks to increase adoption of digital channels in the sector.
