Mission

Zambrero is a quick-service, Mexican-inspired restaurant group serving burritos, bowls, nachos and tacos. Founded in 2005 by Dr Sam Prince, it operates approximately 250 restaurants across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland and the USA and is the largest Mexican restaurant group in Australia. The company has opened five restaurants in the UK to date and is preparing to open its 20th restaurant across the UK and Ireland. Zambrero donates a meal for every regular burrito or bowl sold through its Plate 4 Plate initiative and has donated more than 65 million meals, with a goal of donating one billion meals by 2025. The group has taken its first ever external capital from Metric Capital Partners to support further expansion. No revenue or other financial metrics were disclosed in the announcement.
