Mission

Delegate Connect builds a customizable virtual and hybrid events platform that handles registration, livestreaming, video-on-demand and integrates with venues. The platform was developed by founders Jordan Walsh and Jacob Thomas and launched in January 2020 after initial internal use. It targets medical, pharmaceutical and industry associations and international congresses and includes sector-specific features such as logging professional development (CPD) hours, abstract submissions, content-restricted registrations and concurrent streams. The product is white-label and fully customizable, and the company plans to launch a self-service offering for its target sectors. Its clients have included the Edinburgh TV Festival, Sportsbet, the World Dental Congress and the World Library and Information Congress. After being bootstrapped through growth during the COVID-19 pandemic, Delegate Connect raised A$10 million in seed funding to support international expansion and hiring.
