Mission

Reckon builds checkout-free, ‘grab and go’ retail solutions that let customers pick items and leave without cashier interaction. Its proprietary technology combines cloud AI algorithms and product recognition to automatically identify products using core characteristics and sensor combinations. The solution is designed to be easily and quickly scalable without the need for on-site installations, improving recognition accuracy and fraud prevention. Reckon sees 5G as a key enabler to migrate onsite processing to the cloud, lowering latency, simplifying installations and increasing efficiency and flexibility. Founded in 2017, the company is positioning to establish a strong presence in Europe and the Middle East and to work with well-known retail partners. It recently secured external funding to accelerate this expansion.
