Samuel Knight International, established in 2014, provides skills and energy solutions to the energy and rail sectors on a permanent, contract and temporary basis. Led by CEO Steven Rawlingson and headquartered in Newcastle, the company also has offices in London and Bristol. It reported £13m turnover last year. The business received an investment from Gresham House Ventures and is using the funds to increase headcount and further invest in technology. Samuel Knight plans to expand internationally and is considering the acquisition of two sites abroad to support that growth. The capital is intended to support operational scaling and international expansion.
