Remi.ai is a platform that delivers demand forecasting, inventory management, replenishment and price optimisation to retail and e-commerce clients. Founded in 2014, the company started as a consulting service and has since developed a SaaS platform that generates recurring revenue. Remi.ai counts Coca-Cola and Microsoft among its clients and says its SaaS is accessible to both Fortune 100 companies and SMEs. The company’s thesis is the intelligent automation of supply chains, applying the latest AI and machine-learning optimisation tools to retail and manufacturing challenges. With the new seed funding the company plans to hire staff, expand R&D capacity, and accelerate sales and marketing, as well as speed up onboarding and bolster design and front-end engineering. Remi.ai has been used for pandemic-era supply-chain scenarios and container optimisation work as shipping costs and related challenges have evolved. The company completed its first external capital raise and joined the inaugural Boab AI Scale Up six-month program. Remi AI finished 2020 with 25% client growth month-on-month.
