Boston Micro Fabrication (BMF) develops micro-scale 3D printers and manufacturing solutions centered on its proprietary PμSL (Projection Micro Stereolithography) technology and microArch system printers. Its machines serve product development, research and industrial short-run production across healthcare, life sciences, electronics and machining. The company works with nearly 2,000 scientific research institutions and industrial enterprises across 35 countries. BMF says it will use new funding to improve R&D, further promote and extend its terminal products, and strengthen global collaborations in medtech and high-end manufacturing. Leadership includes John Kawola and co-founder and CEO Xiaoning He. BMF was founded in 2016 and maintains offices in Boston, Shenzhen, Chongqing and Tokyo, with an R&D center in San Diego.
