About

ShopandBox is a peer-to-peer platform that matches shoppers with local boxers (personal shoppers) by shopping interests and location, coordinating purchases and cross-border delivery across 20+ countries.

Mission

ShopandBox operates a peer-to-peer service that matches shoppers with boxers (personal shoppers) based on shopping interests and geographic location. The platform reports boxers in more than 20 countries, including the US, South Korea, Japan, France and the UK, and serves shoppers from over 100 countries. The company was co‑founded in November 2013 by Xin‑Lung Tai, Rebecca Chia and Louis Tan. ShopandBox intends to use new funding to expand operations into Spain, Portugal and the Nordics. The business model centers on enabling customers to “shop like a local” via its distributed boxer network. Financially, the company completed a seed financing announced in November 2015 to support its international expansion.
