About
FarmLab provides a mobile app for farmers and agronomists to collect, test, and analyze soil, integrating with soil testing labs to improve sampling accuracy and support soil carbon measurement.
Mission
FarmLab offers a mobile app described as ""Xero for Soil"" that lets farmers and agronomists collect, test and analyse soil information with greater efficiency. The platform directly integrates with soil testing labs across Australia to increase sampling accuracy and reduce long-term costs of soil sampling and carbon measurement. FarmLab reports over 700 farms on the platform covering roughly 700,000 ha and is the preferred provider for several large agribusinesses and carbon developers in Australia. The company positions its product at the nexus of agronomy and sustainability, aiming to support productivity and lower the cost of generating soil carbon offsets. FarmLab has announced a #1million1billion mission to help 1 million farmers sequester 1 billion tonnes of CO2 by 2025 and is pursuing expansion in Australia, New Zealand and the US, with pilot projects in India.
