About
Paytron is a financial cloud platform for SMBs that integrates with Xero to digitize invoices, manage AP workflows, approvals, multi-currency payments, batch transfers, payroll, expenses, and corporate cards.
Mission
Paytron offers an all-in-one financial cloud solution that streamlines accounts payable, international transfers, payroll and expense management via workflows, automated invoice capture, batch payments and corporate cards. The platform is integrated with Xero and targets SMBs while filling the gap between smaller businesses and large organisations that have access to top-end financial services. Co‑founders Jaco Veldsman and Francois Henrion, both former banking executives, launched the company last year into the SMB multi-currency payments market. Paytron reports short sales cycles with customers and aims to ramp growth through strategic partnerships and deeper integration with large financial players. The company has already attracted institutional seed backing and is pursuing access to corporate banking ecosystems to accelerate adoption. Its stated future plans include exploring a pathway to partnership with the Commonwealth Bank through participation in CBA’s x15ventures program. Paytron offers an all-in-one financial cloud solution integrated with Xero that allows small businesses and bookkeepers to approve, manage and pay bills in AUD and 30 other currencies. The platform captures and digitises invoices from PDF, schedules payments, sends reminders and provides automated fraud protection by detecting suspicious invoice-payment changes. Paytron replaces up to three systems and targets the gap between smaller businesses and large organisations that have access to top-end financial services. Co-founders Jaco Veldsman and Francois Henrion, both former banking executives, launched Paytron 12 months ago after months of product development. The company says it has already experienced strong demand and plans to build out additional services following the official launch. Paytron offers a basic free account, a premium service from $19.95/month, and a promotional first-year free offer for signups before the end of the financial year.
