About

Apromore is an open-source, no-code process mining and analytics platform that visualizes and simulates end-to-end workflows, offers digital-twin and prescriptive optimization, model authoring, enterprise repository, and integrations (MuleSoft).

Mission

Apromore provides AI-driven process mining and digital process-improvement technology via a no-code platform. The platform enables business and technology teams to quickly visualize and analyze end-to-end processes, simulate proposed changes prior to implementation, and estimate impact and risk to produce predictable ROI. Apromore highlights digital twin capabilities and plans to extend the platform with an AI-enabled optimization engine and conversational interfaces to recommend opportunities to simplify, automate, and standardize workflows. The company reported triple-digit revenue growth in the last twelve months and says new funding will support expansion in the US and Europe and accelerate its AI product roadmap. Leadership includes CEO and co-founder Marcello La Rosa, and the round added Param Kahlon as an observer to the board. Apromore was named a Leader in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Process Mining Platforms and in Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix Assessment for Process Mining 2024. Apromore, based in Melbourne, Australia, provides value-driven process mining software that enables business teams to quickly visualize and analyze their actual business processes. Its platform uncovers friction points, bottlenecks, SLA violations, breaches of business policies, and other improvement opportunities and allows simulation of changes to avoid costly missteps. Apromore offers a MuleSoft connector in Anypoint Exchange to provide transparent connectivity between Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. The company targets service-oriented industries including financial services and telecom and emphasizes system-neutral, fast deployment for citizen process experts. Following the Series B, Apromore plans to expand product capabilities and connectivity, grow its geographic presence, and extend its portfolio into prescriptive process analytics and AI-augmented process optimization. The product reflects over a decade of academic research, and Marcello La Rosa is CEO. Apromore is an open-source, collaborative business process analytics platform that supports the full spectrum of process mining functionality. Its features include an authoring environment for business process models and an enterprise process model repository. The company was incubated by The University of Melbourne prior to its spin-off. Apromore is led by Prof Marcello La Rosa (CEO) with co-founders Prof Marlon Dumas, Dr Simon Raboczi and Dr Ilya Verenich. It intends to use the funds to strengthen product development and to expand into AI-driven automated process improvement. Planned areas of expansion include robotic process mining, prescriptive process analytics and automated decision optimisation.
