Mission

Barcats operates a digital ecosystem that helps hospitality businesses fill open roles with qualified, engaged talent. The platform has processed more than 340,000 job applications in the last four years and has over 97,000 workers and 27,000 venues across Australia and New Zealand using the service. Barcats offers training partnerships and free online training through partners and sponsors, and is working with the Australian Federal Government DESE to upskill workers and secure employment outcomes. During COVID lockdowns the company temporarily suspended payments for subscription customers in NSW and Victoria and has run initiatives to connect staff to venues still hiring. The fresh funding will be used to build on the company’s foundations and accelerate growth in Australia and in key overseas markets. Leadership initiatives include CEO Jeffrey Williams and newly appointed chairman Garry Browne AM to lead growth plans.
