Mission
Smartlox provides a cloud-based, real-time safety and smart access platform that integrates with Nokē Bluetooth padlocks to digitise traditional lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures. The company replaces manual LOTO practices with electronic lockout devices and software-based lockout systems to streamline control of hazardous energy sources and improve frontline worker safety. Smartlox was spun out of consulting firm A.I. LAMB in March 2022 and has grown to 40 customers globally across mining, manufacturing and logistics. Named customers include Schneider Electric, Kinross Gold and Ormat Technologies. The startup reports strong demand for its Smartlox Starter Packs, which serve as an accessible entry point for new customers. It recently raised $600,000 in a Seed round to accelerate growth, expand sales and customer delivery channels, enhance the product, and support expansion locally in Australia and internationally.
