Expert360 raised US$10 million in a recent financing, bringing its total funding to US$21 million. The funds are intended to enable expansion into the US and Asia Pacific markets. Expert360 is a digital platform that connects businesses with independent consultants and has unbundled traditional consulting onto an online marketplace. Founded in July 2013, it has grown to more than 4,500 independent consultants worldwide and employs about 15 full‑time staff across Australia and Southeast Asia. The platform enables clients to engage top consultants for projects starting around $1,000 and serves large corporates, investment firms, consulting firms, SMEs, entrepreneurs and individuals. Expert360’s product focuses on matching project‑based consulting needs with vetted independent experts via technology and global connectivity. The company plans to use newly raised capital to expand support for consultants through access to research, data and other IP, and to grow its Enterprise services with dedicated project managers for larger organisations. Its stated aim is to disrupt the global $350 billion consulting industry by reducing corporate overheads and improving flexibility and value for clients.
