About

Longtail UX provides an inventory-driven SEM/SEO platform and self-service tools that programmatically build exact-match landing pages, add related content widgets, and personalize shopper journeys across digital marketing channels.

Mission

Longtail UX builds technology and services that help client websites capture analytics, expand site functionality, and provide additional customer-acquisition channels. The company sells tools to personalise customer experiences across major digital marketing channels and to improve shopper journeys on clients' sites. It has developed a new product called LUX Shopping that the company says measurably increases the ROI of eCommerce advertising. Longtail UX is rolling out a full self-service platform and intends to expand international delivery of that platform. The company cites demand driven by COVID-19 as increasing urgency for online-presence solutions. Recent financings have supported product launches and expansion plans. Longtail UX develops a patented inventory-driven SEM/SEO platform that builds exact-match landing pages and connects long-tail searchers to matching products in a single click. Its system programmatically adds related content (store listings, maps, articles, reviews) at scale via a proprietary link widget to boost site traffic and conversions. The company has secured or has pending patents in Australia, the USA, Japan, the EU and China and reports rapid adoption by major Australian brands including Adore Beauty, Booktopia, Dan Murphy’s, Kogan and Woolworths Group. Longtail UX plans to use the new capital to accelerate international expansion and to deliver a full self-service platform for clients. The investment will also support the launch of 'Google SOS', a product designed to show multiple related products on landing pages to increase return on ad spend for Google Shopping Ads. Financially, the company secured $5 million in the latest funding round (completed in two stages and including a $1.5M bridging round from November 2019) to fund these initiatives.
