Mission

Gaia EnviroTech builds modular anaerobic digestion and rapid in‑vessel composting systems to convert organic waste into compost, renewable biogas and digestates. The company provides high‑tech, service‑based organic waste management and bioenergy services, supported by in‑house engineering capability and a dedicated bio‑lab as a one‑stop shop. Gaia has installed three modular anaerobic digestion units and two in‑vessel composting systems across Victoria and Tasmania. A spin‑out from Gekko Systems, Gaia is based in Ballarat, Victoria and targets councils, food processors and agricultural businesses with customer‑oriented modular solutions. The company positions its technology to help clients meet ESG objectives and drive decarbonisation across food, manufacturing and agriculture sectors. A $4.3m investment commitment announced from RFC Ambrian Funds Management’s decarbonisation fund will be used to accelerate expansion and support growth in the Australian and New Zealand market.
