Management says the funds have enabled rapid growth into the U.S. market and to take the business to the next level internationally. Jayride.com is a land travel marketplace and ridesharing service that aggregates transportation data into a single interface. It combines available ride-sharing options with broader transport data so users can find all transport options without ending up without options. The service is currently available in Australia and New Zealand, and the company plans to expand to the UK. Jayride was founded in 2008 by Rod Bishop and Ross Lin and is based in NSW. It recently secured $400,000 in funding from local investors, including angel investor Andrey Shirben. The platform emphasizes preventing gaps in travelers' route research by aggregating options through its interface.
