Mission

Trendspek develops Precision Asset Intelligence (PAI) software that converts drone footage into high-resolution 3D digital models for inspection and analysis. The platform can produce interactive models with detail down to 1mm and reduces inspection time from days to hours. PAI is used to inspect hard-to-reach assets such as mobile towers, chimneys, warehouses and water towers and can chart deterioration over time via subsequent flyovers. Trendspek counts clients including CBRE, NationalGrid, PGIM Real Estate and Applus+ and has expanded into Europe and the UK in 2021 and the US in 2023. The company was founded by former Qantas pilots Derek Feebrey, Fiona Church and Mitch Deam, who launched PAI in 2019. The business plans to use new funding to grow the team, accelerate product development, expand global reach, and increase expert customer support. Co-founder Fiona Church says Trendspek has gained global traction across telecommunications, rail, industrial and infrastructure sectors, with company CFOs among its strongest advocates due to compelling ROI versus current methods. Sydney Angels led a $1.1 million seed round to fund the business’s next stage of growth. Trendspek plans to use the capital to expand its tech development team, invest in customer support, and launch partnerships in Australia, the US and Europe.
